Directions to Heywood Chess Club

1/ From M62 Motorway

M62 from Liverpool or Leeds to J19. Come off and follow A6046 into Heywood.

After 100 yards straight over first mini-roundabout, after another 100 yards turn left at the second mini-roundabout on to Coronation Avenue.

After 100 yards come to T-junction. Turn right towards Heywood on Manchester Road (the A6045).

Follow road for 100 yards, where it will turn sharp left. IMMEDIATELY after this bend the Hopwood Constitutional Sports and Social Club is on the left hand side. Pull into lane and turn immediately right into club car park. Enter through double doors on the left hand side of the front of the building, and take right hand door towards chess club.

2/ From Heywood Town Centre

Take the A6046 towards Middleton and Manchester. 1000m after the Civic Centre, just before the road divides into roads to Middleton or Manchester, you will see a lane on the right hand side.

Pull into lane and turn immediately right into club car park. Enter through double doors on the left hand side of the front of the building, and take right hand door towards chess club.
